The impact of quality on different categories of accessories can be categorized as follows:
Core power components (engine, ignition, fuel supply system parts)
Low-quality components such as cylinders, pistons, and spark plugs can lead to incomplete engine combustion, reduced power output, skyrocketing fuel consumption, and even severe failures like piston seizure or cylinder scoring—directly damaging the engine. In contrast, high-quality, genuine or first-tier brand parts ensure efficient and stable engine operation, maintain the designed power output, and extend the engine’s service life.
Braking and Running Gear Components (Brakes, Tires, Shock Absorbers, Frame Accessories)
This is critical to safety. Low-quality brake pads can lead to brake fade and severe thermal degradation, making it impossible to stop effectively during emergency braking. These types of accessories have relatively little impact on performance, but substandard products still pose hidden risks.
